We also work closely with Taylor Seafood, a supplier with nearly 100 years of experience in North East England. Taylor Seafood ensures that all our fish is sourced from approved fishing grounds and is fully traceable back to its source. We are committed to partnering with suppliers who support the Marine Stewardship Council’s initiatives and adhere to the principles of sustainable fishing. Our seafood is also RSPCA Assured, guaranteeing the highest standards of animal welfare.
We exclusively use prawns certified to the highest standard—four stars—by the Best Aquaculture Practice (BAP). BAP is the world’s most trusted and comprehensive third-party aquaculture certification program, recognised for its rigorous standards. Since 2002, BAP has been leading the way in enhancing the environmental, social, and economic performance of the aquaculture supply chain, while expanding the global availability of responsibly farmed seafood.
Our chicken is sourced from higher-welfare farms in Britain, with occasional imports from Europe depending on the season. Each piece of chicken is fully traceable and raised in barns with natural light and ample space, ensuring conditions that go beyond industry standards. Temperature and environmental factors are meticulously controlled to guarantee the birds' wellbeing.
Our local supplier, Warren Butterworths, brings over 50 years of expertise in the North East, delivering premium, locally-raised meats. All our meat meets the NACB standard, providing customers with added confidence in the quality, safety, and integrity of our products.

We exclusively use PREMIUM topside beef cuts, sourced from UK farms where cattle are reared on grass. These farms are independently monitored to ensure they meet stringent animal welfare, food safety, and environmental standards. Our commitment to quality means that every beef dish we prepare comes from carefully selected, trusted sources.
Depending on the season and supply chain conditions, our lamb is sourced from either the UK or New Zealand. Regardless of origin, we use only premium cuts for our lamb dishes, ensuring every piece is traceable back to the farm where it was raised. This traceability allows us to guarantee the quality and sustainability of our lamb.
Our pork is sourced from higher-welfare farms in Britain and Belgium, carefully selected by our trusted local butchers. We conduct regular visits to our meat suppliers to ensure they meet the highest standards. All of our pork suppliers adhere to the NACB (National Association of Catering Butchers) standard, which guarantees traceability, safety, and the integrity of the meat we use.
All the eggs we use are free-range and sourced from UK farms. They carry the British Lion Quality mark, assuring you that these eggs come from hens vaccinated against Salmonella. Additionally, our eggs are RSPCA Assured, meaning they meet strict welfare standards set by the RSPCA’s independently certified farm assurance scheme.
